On 26 March 2025, seven ROC’s celebrated 25 years of collaboration within The Dutch Alliance (TDA) at Mindlabs in Tilburg. The day was hosted by students and staff from Yonder, who created an energetic and professional atmosphere.
Our most experienced steering group member, Peter Siemann, honoured the founders of TDA, a wonderful moment of gratitude and recognition. TDA chair Jan Jeronimus took everyone back to the origins and key milestones in the growth of the network.
Carl Govers, Chair of the Supervisory Board and Executive Board member of Yonder, highlighted the power of joint internationalisation. Inspiring examples such as the study visit to Tknika and the cooperation within the Network of Networks demonstrated the added value of our alliance.
Workshops on SDGs, inclusion, internationalisation@home, micro-credentials, and skills inspired participants with fresh insights and ideas.
The day was concluded by Dieter Möckelmann, a driving force in digital transformation.
He encouraged everyone to reflect on the “internet on steroids,” the immense importance of schools as social hubs, and the urgent need to be digitally fit, skilled, and hygienic; where urgency often proves more effective than ambition.
“For AI, the basic ingredient is information—and right now, it’s being juggled. We ain’t seen nothing yet.”
It was a day full of recognition, inspiration, and energy for the future of vocational education!
